Destined for Destiny

I was getting ready for Kuya Dan's wedding yesterday. "Ma, to whom do you think I will get married?"

I thought mom will laugh again with my stupid question. "Well, it could be, ___, ___ or ____"  (I won't mentioned their names XD) I laugh with my mom's answer instead. "I don't think that's possible, ma. They are living their own lives now."

Mom would always love to hear and talk about love. "I saw at Wowowee about the love story of the contestant. They both live their lives differently when they broke up. One went to Hongkong and the other one work to Taiwan. Few years have past, when the guy went back to the Philippines, he went to his ex girlfriend's house without knowing that the girl was in abroad. The girl
coincidentally just came back from Hongkong. They were both in relationship at that time. When they saw each other, they broke up with their boyfriend and girlfriend and decided to be  together." I just stared at  the stairs. I was thinking how my next love story would be like.

"If you're really destined  to be together, no matter how long, no matter how far, you'll still be together at the end.. I guess that's how destiny works." mom continued. I smiled. I was hoping my mom would find his destined person soon.
 

I believe in destiny but I also believe in choice. I believe that we are destined to meet certain people in our lives, but we have the freedom to choose in return. Are we going to stay? Or we going to leave that person?

I went to Kuya Dan's wedding yesterday. He really looks soooo happy and so is his wife. They met online. (I was actually amazed when I heard it) They are destined to met each other. But it was  their choice to stay for 3 years and get married. With all certainty I can say that they are destined to be together.

As for me, I will wait for my destiny... ^_~
