Happiness for me is when I can eat pancakes with unlimited syrup.I searched Google earlier and spent like 3 hours to find out what happiness really means.
Our natural state of being is to be happy. When you remove all the uncomfortable emotions we humans can experience (and they are numerous), you're left with happiness.

I got tired of searching the meaning of the happiness, since most of them just gave me the dictionary-like definition. So I ask my colleague which is already around 37 years old, "Kuya Dan (Older Brother), what is happiness for you?" He laugh at first
and said,"That's a very deep question." But I insisted that he must answer the question. So he said,
and said,"That's a very deep question." But I insisted that he must answer the question. So he said,
I have read it somewhere while surfing (sorry forgot the site) that old men/women easily became happy than younger people. That is probably the reason why Kuya Dan have a very simple definition of happiness. Well happiness in the first place isn't something complicated, but I was expecting a deeper answer from him. I was impressed anyway. People like him really knows that happiness isn't something that you must find somewhere else, it is right beside you. Yeah, really, beside you. hehe"When I will have my wife, my own child and my family can eat 3 times a day."
Happiness for me isn't something that you can keep forever. It is like a pancake with unlimited syrup. You can't always eat it forever or all day long, but that's the reason why you MUST feel it, crave for it, want it, need it. But most of all, we all know, that it is best, when it is shared. :)
What about you? What is happiness for you?

i really agree to this.. "But most of all, we all know, that it is best, when it is shared. :)"
ReplyDeletechello. what about God said.. True Happiness is eternity? aw sakto bana? something like in Heaven is the true Happiness? >_<
well. Happiness for me is something that we must be contented of. It is something that we let go all the worries and pain, and be happy. I live day by day, have friends, families, and most important, i have Jesus my brotherly God.
I have also read some articles that says God is the path to the true happiness. I don't have anything else to say about this since it is inevitable, he is the creator and our protector and without him in our lives, we can't definitely found true happiness.
ReplyDeleteNiel, you almost have the same definition of happiness with my close friend here. Yes, I agree that happiness is content. Enjoying the small things. Enjoying it with the people that we love most. :)
