My Sweet Paradise

My head is about to explode... 1, 2, 3... *boom*

It's been few days now that I have started editing some CSS and Php codes, trying to update a template to a newer version and customize it for my new site. I was so used on concentrating on the design part (you know pure design, without bothering any boring codes or staring at them, blankly) and the inevitable part is here.

I think considering for a person who really hate looking at monstrous codes (not to mention the outrageous numbers) it will be pretty hard to finish this task alone. (Ahh... how I miss my team...) I keep on staring at the dock of my computer, trying to suppress the overwhelming feeling to click the Photoshop icon, make a new canvas and create a new design that will express my innermost passionate feelings towards design...

I was staring at the documentation, trying to understand every word written on it. Typing slowly but surely, making an update on some lines of the codes. Changing some variables from here and there, refreshing the browser every time I have made some changes – checking if I'm really making a difference. Hours have passed and the page is still - blank.

My head is about to explode... 1, 2, 3... *boom*

I can hardly breathe… Hastily, I click the Photoshop icon, make a new canvas and start filling in every ideas that crosses my mind… There, my paradise. As I started designing I can feel the warmth of summer, the scent of autumn, the coolness of winter and the lively spring. Where else can I get these feelings besides designing? It is the air I breathe, the food I take, my lovely escapade.

Yes, I am escaping from reality right now – coding.

Still, the temptation is just a click away. The icon is just on the dock. The paradise is just there. So just hold on my dear self, when you finish all of these – you can finally start wandering in the unknown and exciting world of your own canvas.

My head is about to explode... 1, 2, 3... *boom*

But my inspiration is just here inside of me, waiting patiently to be expressed in the most wonderful way. People will be happy. They will be smiling delightfully and say – it’s beautiful.
